This service is available to parents who are participating in <strong>ACRC Fitness Center memberships, fitness classes, walking track, or open basketball<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Parents must remain <strong>on-site at the ACRC facility (225 E. 5th Ave., Arkansas City, KS)<\/strong> while their child is in ACKC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Please note that <strong>ACKC is not a licensed childcare facility<\/strong>. In accordance with state guidelines, each child may use the service for a maximum of <strong>1.5 hours per day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-3616-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-3616-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-3616-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><div class=\"textwidget\"><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Kidz Club Hours<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday\u2013Friday:<\/strong> 10:00 \u2013 11:30 AM<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monday\u2013Thursday:<\/strong> 4:45 \u2013 6:30 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Fees<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Preregistered \u2013 Monthly:<\/strong> $20 daily use (1.5 hr max\/day),<\/li>\n<li>$15 for each additional child.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drop-in Rate:<\/strong> $5 per day (1.5 hr max\/day).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drop-ins are accepted only if staff-to-child ratios allow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parent\/Guardian Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must remain at the ACRC facility at all times.<\/li>\n<li>For infants under 6 months, parents must bring a portable carrier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Check-in\/check-out<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parents must sign children in and out<\/li>\n<li>Each parent\/child will receive matching ID numbers and bracelets, which must be presented at pick-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/arkcityrec.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Kidz-Club-Guidlines-2025-000.docx\">Download full ACKC Guidelines here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-3616-2-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-3616-2-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"3\" ><div class=\"textwidget\"><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time Limits:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Ages 6 weeks \u2013 3 years: up to 1 hour per visit<\/li>\n<li>Ages 4 \u2013 8 years: up to 1.5 hours per visit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health &amp; Safety:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Children must be fever-free for 24 hours before attending.<\/li>\n<li>If your child has vomiting, diarrhea, or severe coughing, please keep them home.<\/li>\n<li>If your child is on antibiotics, they may return <strong>24 hours after starting medication<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meals &amp; Drinks:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Please feed your child before arrival.<\/li>\n<li>Drinks with lids are allowed (labeled with the child\u2019s name).<\/li>\n<li>Snacks are <strong>not permitted<\/strong> due to allergies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Personal Items:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Toys are provided, but personal toys may be brought if safe for all children.<\/li>\n<li>Parents must provide diapers, wipes, and a diaper bag for non-potty-trained children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Behavior:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Discipline will be handled with <strong>time-outs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If a child cries for more than 10 minutes, parents will be asked to return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/arkcityrec.recdesk.com\/Community\/Program\/Detail?programId=761\">Register online<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-3616-3\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-3616-3-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-3616-3-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><div class=\"textwidget\"><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Ark City Kidz Club is here to help parents stay active while knowing their children are safe and cared for nearby.<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Arkansas City Recreation Commission (ACRC) is excited to introduce Ark City Kidz Club (ACKC) \u2014 a childcare service designed to help parents enjoy our fitness and wellness opportunities without worrying about childcare.
