Arkansas City Recreation Commission offers a variety of recreation programs, sports leagues, special events, fitness classes, and aquatic programs for Arkansas City community members of all ages.
Arkansas City Recreation Commission is overseen by a five-person board. Daily operations and management are handled by the staff of ACRC.

Facilities Information
The Rec Center located in downtown Arkansas City, Kansas at 225 East Fifth Avenue and is open for general use, subject to event scheduling. The Physical Fitness Center is located in the lower level of the Rec Center.
ACRC also manages the Family Aquatic Center, Paris Park Pool, C Dow Sports Complex, AC Skate Park, & Ark City Sports Complex.

Registration Information
Pre-registration is required for all ACRC activities. Registrations are held at the Rec Center, 225 East Fifth Avenue or online at arkcityrec.recdesk.com. Program fees must accompany registrations. Anyone residing in USD 470 area is eligible to participate in any Commission sponsored activity.
In order to meet the demand for service provided to non-residents of USD 470 school district, out-of-district residents will be assessed a slightly higher fee than residents who live within USD 470 boundaries.
No refund will be issued after practice has begun or after the class has started or supplies have been ordered. Please contact ACRC Director for information regarding financial assistance.
