Facilities Information

The Rec Center located in downtown Arkansas City, Kansas at 225 East Fifth Avenue and is open for general use, subject to event scheduling. Facilities available for use include basketball courts, meeting rooms, walking track, and Fitness Center. Physical Fitness Center is located in the Lower level of the Rec Center.

The Physical Fitness Center and the Family Aquatic Center are membership facilities. For both facilities we offer monthly, 6-month or 1-year memberships. We also have daily or weekly rate. For more information on the Physical Fitness Center or Family Aquatic Center click the link.

Registration Information

Pre-registration is required for all ACRC activities. Registrations are held at the Rec Center, 225 East Fifth Avenue or online at arkcityrec.recdesk.com . Program fees must accompany registrations. Anyone residing in USD 470 area is eligible to participate in any Commission sponsored activity. In order to meet the demand for service provided to non-residents of USD 470 school district, out-of-district residents will be assessed a slightly higher fee than residents who live within USD 470 boundaries. No refund will be issued after practice has begun or after the class has started or supplies have been ordered. Please contact ACRC Director for information regarding financial assistance.
